HI, where would we stand with repaying debts to family as we owe our parents money and obviously would like to pay them back before br?

Family/personal debts are treated the same as creditors so if you pay them before other creditors (loans/CCs) then it could be seen as favouritism.

has anyone done this when going br and would the amount factor ie

Loan = 5.5k (not got)

Parents = 500 (can pay)

As gettingoutofdebt says, if you pay this money to your parents, it will be seen as favouritism and frowned upon.
