I live in Florida My husband and I filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy March 2005 We paid are Bankruptcy payment 369.00 on time every month until October 2008. My husband and I became seperated and now had to each seperatley support households and we have four children. We were unable to continue making the Bankruptcy payments. My husband and I are getting back together and we need to know what we can do. We have already paid in around 20,000 and had less then a year left. We dont have 2500 to catch up the payments right now and now my husbands wages were Garnished for 325.00. We cannot afford to loose this money raising 4 children. Please tell me what I can do. We do not have money to pay our Bankruptcy Attorney for current help. I cant believe that we can pay in that much money and no one will help us.
This sounds like a US Bankruptcy issue. If so you may not get much assistance on this board as this is regarding UK bankruptcy.
Are you a UK citizen working in the US? If so you can declare BR in the UK and your US debt will be included in the BR. Let us know whether that is the case and we can let you know how you go about declaring BR in the UK and what you will need to do.
