They said because option 3-Anytime has a mobile phone attached, its a mobile phone contract too, and has a greater credit check (Their words) so it failed< they gave me Broadband Option 3 Which has unlimited broadband and told me to reapply in 4 months for the anytime package, everything else went through ok.
Another provider is Sky which offer free Broadband if you subscribe to their TV, tiscali is the same as Sky and AOL all of which dont do credit checks.
Virgin Media do an indepth credit check, when they checked mee, it rejected straight away.
Good luck

If you've got Sky TV I would recommend Sky broadband - we pay £5 a month and the service is much better than BT ever was. We also get our phone from Sky as well - the line rental is slightly cheaper than BT and we pay £5 a month to have all calls (except 0845 etc) free at any time.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
