Hi
I have received a letter from the OR about someone buying the BI in the house which is in Neg eq ( - £15,000) so it would cost £1 plus £211 fees for their solicitor. I spoke to them about whether two people would need to buy the BI because my Husb and I have separated and both names are on Mortgage and we are both Bankrupt. The OR said one person buying the BI would be ok. Does this mean that if my Mum buys the BI that a sale cannot be forced on the property or can the building society still force a sale even though Mum has bought the BI from the trustee.
Also would my Mum need a Solicitor to act on her behalf too or has anyone done this transaction without one

Please help if you can

G xxx

As long as the mortgage payments continue to be made, the house will be safe.

I'm not 100% sure about a solicitor though - hopefully an expert will be along to assist with that one.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
