Hi again. Need some advice please. I took a loan out in April but now I am having to go bankrupt. I read on forum that i would need to pay 3 payments before br, but the payments didn't start until june. should i wait until i have paid 3 payments before br. would this be seen as favouring as i have stopped payments to everything else? Thank you

Hi Blair
No doubt the OR will question why you took the loan out just before going BR, may be if you made token payments to the others to show that you are trying, whilst making the loan payments, it would look better,
I am no expert, I'm sure one would be along soon.

All the best

I'm no expert either, but I think the OR will want to know why you took the loan out as you were obviously in dire straits at that time as well.

Hopefully one of the experts will be along as Leakie has said - I really don't know the position as it was a loan with deferred payments.

Hi

Could you provide evidence to the OR, that you truly believed that the loan would consolodate debt and that you believed that when June came around that you would be able to afford the monthly repayments, i.e change of income.

Maybe it would be better to look at a DMP at the moment as that shows you have made an effort to make some sort of payment.

Best of Luck

You could be right Stu - at least some sort of payments will have been made.
