Hi,

If I was to become bankrupt would I have to dislose this to a prospective landlord if I wanted to rent privately or is this not seen as entering into a credit agreement?

Hi,

I don't think you need to disclose that you are BR as this isn't a credit agreement. If the landlord asks you if you are BR then you will have to tell him and if he runs a credit check he will find out but it is normally agencies that run the checks rather than private landlords.
