I am due in court very soon now, but honestly I am now torturing myself with everything that COULD poss go wrong.....it is driving me potty!!

1.I am now imaginening my poss OR in a Sherlock Holmes type outfit...deeply investigating my case and my finances from 5-7 years ago.I can't remember anything about those years ,basically as I have deleted the painfulness in total.I have never gambled, all my debts were living-bills 'robbing Peter to pau Paul'.....

2.Do OR's sit there for hours and cross reference your creditors...?
Where did you live when you took out this loan..and where did you live when you took out the next..and who did you live with in 1999 and who do you live with now..??

Apperantly my case is very simple and straight forward, but I just keep thinking I'll be the ONE that they REALLY want to punish for getting into debt..!?Even though Ive been with DMP for years.

I am visualising my OR questioning my boyfriends family,my boss,my parents etc....help!

Also Ill be in court in East Sussex and cant find anyone on the forum that has had any experience with this OR area...so I am convinced that this is going to be THE area where OR's are horrible and NOT very humain...?????

Any advise here.......???? Heeelp!!!!

Hi,

It's only natural that you will be worried, it's not an everyday thing and unless you've been throught it, it will play on your mind.

For a lot of people it's the one and only time they have set foot in a court.

I'm sure everything will be ok. Most people say that the OR interview is ok and if your case is straightforward then you shouldn't have any problems.

Good luck, and we're here for the virtual hugs and hand holding.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time

During the OR interview they will ask when you took out the credit, how much it was for, how much is outstanding, the monthly repayment and the credit reference number.

If you don't have these details any more then you could always get a free credit report from one of the credit reference agencies as the details should be there.

Thanks for your replies Kallis3 and Gettingoutofdebt

The only thing I am pretty sure about is the quality of my BR forms. I have copied all proof of DMP payments, salaries, bank statements etc and a copy of one of my DMP monthly letters which states all my creditors details etc.And I have copied ALL of it so I have a full set myself.
It all looks very tidy and easy to read/check through....at least.

However...I feel just so nauseous thinking about walking into the court room......even though this IS what I want and I just so want to get on with my life!!

Just take a very deep breath, hold your head up high and just remember that when you leave the court you will be debt free.
