Hi

I live in Scotland and expect to be discharged on 29th July (next week)which is 1 year from by sequestration date on my AIB letter. I pay £200 per month and all has been going well. Recently my parents have moved away from the area (Kent - very far away)and i was relying on them to help with picking my 2 kids from nursery / primary school in order for me to hold down my part time job. This has now become very difficult and resulted in me having to drop my hours from 20 - to 16 per week in order to pick up my children from school my self etc...I was advised last week that my company is looking for voluantary redundancies - with any accepted expected to leave in September this year - with an enhanced redundancy settlement (around £4000)

My question is how will this effect me? as i will be discharged am i compelled to pay this money to my sequestration and how will it be viewed that i have give up my job voluantarily?

I would hope to seek employment elswhere but is very difficult due to the children - one being at nursery in the mornings and the other being at primary school full time.

Many thanks for your advice.
