hi can you tell me what happens when we get a 5 week month just wondering if the OR lets you have say £520 a mouth for food this is ok for a 4 weeks but then isnt enough for the mouths that have 5 weeks in them .or is it done weekly ???
The amount of money received and period ie 4 weeks 5 weeks would be worked out for a year and divided by 12 to give monthly income - it has to be done thia way as the allowances are all for one month

thanks for the replys ..sorry dont mean to be thick just trying to get my head around this so i get £520 a month now normal months have 4 weeks in them so on them weeks i get £130 a weekfor food but when its a month that has 5 weeks in it i only get £104 a week for food ??
A single person would be able to claim £195 per calender month for food - when you receive the money is regardless the allowance is given for the month - you will have to learn to budget monthly
