I went bankrupt early in the year. I moved into rented accomadation 6 months before this date.

Northen Rock are taking me to court in August to grant an Order for Possession.

1, What will haperen to the shortfull once sold of about 40K.

2, Will this court information be in the press as was the advert that I want Bankrupt.

3. I do not want to go to court, is this ok or not.

Hi,

1. If you put the mortgage details on your BR forms then any shortfall will be included in your BR and you will not be liable for the money.

2. I don't think repossessions are published.

3. No, you don't need to turn up at the court unless you want to try to keep the property and argue the case.
