Hi all

I need some advise please.
Yesterday I received a letter from A credit managing company called Apex on behalf of Barclay Card. This letter was forwarded to me as I have moved recently .
(None of my creditors have my new address or phone number)
It states they have tried to contact me without success and I have 10 days to pay in full or ring them to work out a payment plan.

This is naturally because I have not paid my DMP for 4 mnths as I am saving for the BR money.

Do I need to do anything about this.....?

I try not to panic, but it's pretty difficult with some of these letters....

Help!

I would ignore them if you are going bankrupt, I did for about 7 months before bankruptcy, I too had moved house and had the post re-directed.

Thanks so much for your reply Jane.
So great to hear others have been in this same situation.

I had quite a pile of these letters by the time I went bankrupt, I saved them as I thought the OR might want them but he didn't so I had a nice little shredding session

I would ignore them as well. It won't be long until you can declare bankruptcy so they can't do anything to you.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time

Barclaycard chased me for over 12 months and with over 5 different collection agencies - all very threatening but nothing came of it.

Apex are one of the most hopeless ones in my experience - on ignoring them for 3 months they just went away, they are just after the quick easy cases...

The only company that ever bothered to find out where I had moved to were Wescot but even they went away

Hi all and thank you very much for your replies!!

I had that gut-feeling that I 'just' need to ignore the very few letters I have received. I should be able to go BR end October so I shall hang on until then.I don't ignore the letters lightly, but its the only option really.

I'll just try and keep my head high and mind focused on October and that worry free life I soooooooo long for!!!!

Thanks again everyone!!!!
