Spouse's Obligations to the OR

The OR has asked me to provide evidence of my I&E, however, whilst I am the sole breadwinner my wife does the majority of the shopping I would need her to provide the receipts. However, as this is my BR she does not feel she has any obligation to the OR and is not willing to cooperate.

Will it suffice to just show that I transfer the house-keeping into her account? The amount that I transfer is in keeping with the "average" amounts published on the insolvency service web-site.

Your wife is correct in thinking she has no obligation to provide information to the OR.

I would provide a copy of the bank statements showing the bank transfer and then take it from there. It sounds like the OR is trying to get an IPA implemented but your current I&E has a DI of less than £100.
