Was made bancrupt in 2005,i was a partner in a ltd comapany,my partner got away wiv having to pay nothing as she had no assests at the time, now as i have a home the trustee has valued it and said we need to give him £20,000 or posses the house. He has given us a year to raise the funds im on good money now,but cant remortage or get a loan. And the year is up now and recieved a letter yesterday off him and he says he has no option but to proceed with possesion. I have a wife and kids, were devestated. We always kept mortage payments on time, but we dont know who we can borrow the money from. This matter has took years to sort as the partner bancrupt the bussiness and herself first, and she did not have to pay a penny back.It doesnt seem fair! I dont know what else to do,I dont want to lose my home.

It isn't fair tbh. How much money will thhe OR want? Any family members that could possibly help you out?I think if you go onto the IVA sister forum there is someone there who can get mortgage deals for bankrupts, though i dpubt the interest rate would be that favourable.

You could try contacting Tony Parsons who posts as Welshboy on the www.iva.co.uk, his details are in the experts section there.

Good luck, I hope you can find a solution so that you can keep your home x
