Has anyones creditors ever taken them to court while you have been saving up fees to go bankrupt. I am in debt with 13 different companys, all of the debts are now with collection agencies, I really can not handle the stress anymore everyday I go home from work to letters. I am not paying any of the collection agencys as I am trying to save up the fees to apply for BR, just wondering what will happen if my crediotrs take me to court. |

I did, I had 2 CCJS awarded whilst I was saving up the fees for bankruptcy, like you, I had tons of letters but I just ignored them (easier said than done, I know)
I owed NR £20,000 on an unsecured loan, they got a FORTHWITH CCJ awarded for just over £32,000 (with interest added) to be paid immediately, yeah right, like I had THAT kind of money lying around
Because of the CCJs being awarded, which I know can mean bailiffs can be sent, I just did not answer the door and kept it and the windows all locked until I got my bankruptcy date |
