Hi.Please could you put my mind at rest.

1. If after I have been discharged from BR and I am left any money in a will, will the OR have any claim to it.

2. Also if I am discharged but am still paying an IPA can the OR have any claim on it also.

after discharge you can win the lottery and the OR can't touch it

IPAs are for income, gifts do not come into it as far as i know, inheritance would not be classed as income.

If the person died before you were discharged but the estate was sorted out after the OR would have a claim on it.

Does that if my circumstances change after discharge (eg I get a pay rise or hubby gets a job)I don@t have to tell OR and monies mine to keep.

If you are paying an IPA you will need to inform OR of any change of income for that 3 years.

If no IPA is in place at the time of discharge you won't get one x
