Starting to fill in our forms now so be prepared for loads of questions

Anyway here is a few to start off with,

1, We sold our house to a rent back firm in January of this year (BR was not even in our minds) anyway we had 4 different offers and they were all in the same region. When filling in the form do I put this cash figure in or do I put the " market figure" in. I don`t even know what the market figure is as none of the houses are selling in this area. Really worried about this as I do not want to appear to have done something underhand, the sale was all done through solicitors and was all above board.

2, In the unsecured creditors column, is that where I put the CC companies or just the 1 personal loan that I had.

3, In the employment column not too sure what to put, I am medically retired, so does that constitute unemployed?

4, Reasons for BR, not too sure what to put here as there was no one reason why I have got us in this mess.

Hi Charlie,

1. Put down the figure you sold the property for.

2. Yes

3. Just mention you are unemployed

4. Be honest. If it is a case that you just built up a lot of debt over the course of a few years and ended up using one debt to pay another then put this down. No matter what you put it won't be something that the OR hasn't already heard.

Don't worry about making mistakes on the BR form as the OR will go through it during the interview and you can make any clarification (i.e. with your employment) then.

Hi GOOD, (not a bad acronym that, is it?) Thanks for the reply to my questions. I am sure there will be a lot more forthcoming over the next5 few days.
