The Official Receiver will send a Report to all of the creditors, normally this is within 8 weeks of the bankruptcy order date

Hi Blue joyce

The OR is responsible but it takes time.

you can send copies yourself to your creditors but you pay for the stamp (s)

The phone calls can still continue for alittle time until they finally get the message. i have noted that the caller at the other end of the phone goes very quiet when they have been throu all of their security Bumphf and you then thank them for their call and inform them of your BR reference.

had one creditor still ask me for money "My reply was appropriate in the circumstance but not printable on this forum !

have you gone BR yet or still doing research

regards Richard

Try not to worry bluejoyce as this has happened to a lot of us here. I had previously had no problems paying creditors for the previous 20+ years and then all of a sudden I realised that the following month I wouldn't be able to pay all of my creditors - it was a major wake up call!

Paul Johns from RevivaUK always says that you need to plan BR and he is right so if you are planning to declare BR in the New Year then you are doing the right thing by preparing now.

Keep asking questions and reading through old topics and the BR process will go as smoothly as is possible.
