Hi. Im 24 living with my partner and his parents. I have debts of about £15,000 and no assests. I have some questions. Im self employed for betterware but I do have a contract with them. If the company are happ y to keep me on as there is nothing in the contract will I still maybe have to leave it. I am waiting to here from my boss.
2. How long will it take to go to court. I am going with citizens advice?
3. My pay is up and down grately each month as I am paid monthly and as the nature of the business it is not steady. Am I likely to have to pay monthly payments and how will this affect them if i do?
4. If i start earning more will this affect it?
5. What does it mean by proved to be behaved reckless. As I spose you could say all debts are reckless? Thanks. The foums have helped a lot. Even though Im only 24 Ive made myself ill stressing over it in the pass and now what it to be over so anyway i can. Much appreciated

1
dependson your boss as you are self employed but i don't know of any offical reason you could not continue to work for them
2
some courts have a 6 week waiting list others do not it depends upon where you live
3
your average Disposable income will be calculated , if you have more than £99 DI per month an IPA will likely be set up for 36 months.
4
if your income varies up or down the IPA will be reassessed

did you incur credit knowing you were not going to be able to pay it off?? ie. you were considering BR?
did you incur credit for gambling???

Hi Emma

Welcome to forum

just a thought, I am not a betterware agent but from one of my friends that have an area, are the run ups to Xmas the busiest time of year for your business?

save confusion and impairment on your business might be an idea to plan to go BR in the new year!

which is your local county court?

what car do you drive and approx value?

not certain on the answer so posting the question back to you.. if you go BR from your in laws home address will it affect their credit history ?

easy for me to say but try not to get too stressed , it is a difficult time but most of us have also had similar experiences, focus on the good things in life like your partner and you baby

keep focus and good luck

Regards Richard
