Hi Andy

If you have heard nothing since the letter from the OR saying he was applying for his release it is usually safe to assume you will hear nothing else.

The OR applies for his release when he has done everything he thinks needs doing, and all his questions have been dealt with.

Good luck

Hi Andy

Have you checked the insolvency.gov web site, you can do a name search on yourself ?

sometimes the OR does not always write straight away to see you have ED. web site appears most upto date

release has nothing to do with discharge they are totally seperate. The OR (as trustee) is saying that they have finished with your estate.

Discharge is a conduct and OR (in their seperate investigation job)matter and they may have just decided that you will be going the full 12 months

Is it not possible to ring the OR, or is it best not to rock the boat?

OMG so worried and not sleeping.

I was told not to contact the OR about ED - if it happened it happened. In my casae it didn't, and to be honest doing the full 12 months wasn't really a problem.

let the official receiver deal with things, i would advise against chasing it up. when early discharge is granted it can take up to 12 weeks before you are actually discharge, even then there is no gaurantee that you will be released early as it depnds on the regional receivers office and how quick they complete the paperwork to release you.
