Hi

Your bank account will be frozen until the Official Receiver confirms to the bank that they have no interest in the account. This can be done straight away as long as the OR receives the bankstatement showing the position at the date of the order.

.....and then I guess its up to the bank to decide whether or not to let you keep the account ?

Oh and also, if the account is a basic straightforward one i.e. no overdraft, wages go in, wages go out, never any money at the end of the month.......is it more likely that the OR will not be interested?
