Hi I would ask the OR about the process of your details being placed on the register and is it therefore possible for them to have been there temporarily.

I just contacted the Insolvency Register Helpline, they said it would take a day, two at the most for the details to go on. They said considering I went bankrupt on Friday, I contacted Official Receiver on Monday it wouldn't have been put on in that time. Official Receiver said they have not published it anywhere! Argh!

Hi are either, or both, of the companies that have written to you local to you?
I'm just thinking, but could be way off the mark, that if they are then maybe they have someone within the court relaying this information in return for an introducer fee if you sign up with them.

Im not sure where they are, its an 0800 number. I did remember seeing another post on here some while ago about someone getting mail from companies after being declared bankrupt.
