I have been thru the mill, DIY DMP, formal DMP with payplan, IVA since April 08, failed because of marriage failure.

I have now booked my date for BR the first date I could be offered was 14 Oct, but needed a friday so booked it for 17 October.

Well, I was just wandering how long between the court date and the OR call/interview.

I really will be asking more questions soon.

thanks in advance

Hi and welcome this site has been a saviour for us, my OH went br on april 22nd 2008, had a short call the next day to arrange a call the following week which lasted 2 hours. We had a couple more calls clarifying points and the today rob had a meeting with the OR face to face. This doesn't always happen but rob was self-employed as wellas employed so a little more complicated.
I had many sleepless nights but I have to say it hasn't been as bad as I thought and if I was ever stressed out I posted on here or Iva.co.uk site.
Good luck

A very warm welcome to you Gettingthere,

As jayrob says this site is our saviour too, without it i most probably would be wearing a straight jacket and not in this world. :)

I had my hearing on the Monday 4/8, telephone call to book interview Fri 8/8 then main interview 12/8 lasting 1hr 20mins.

Just waiting to hear about the outcome now with regards to what we will pay etc.

Good luck and keep on posting.

Hi Gettingthere and welcome to the forum.

Timescales do vary depending on which OR office you're dealing with. The OR interview is usually within 2 weeks of the BR.

Thanks for your support.
My head is spinning, I was a bit confused with the forms online as there doesnt seem to be enough room to detail all expenditure - do you take a separate sheet?

Also is WFTC and CTC taken into account to surplus income?
thanks in advance

I went bankrupt on the 15th August and my interview isn't until the 18th September!!! Apparantly they are overrun at the moment.

Hi Maizie,

I'm not at all surprised, and they're only going to get busier!
