i am writing to apply for a credit report but how can i prove who i am because the bussiness and property i left was over 5 years ago and the house where i am now has nothing in my name. Any ideas
its a long time since I applied for mine so I cant quite recall if proof is needed.
Just write giving your full name and all of the addresses that you have occupied for the last 6 years. You can request the reports on line so the only "proof" they would get there is the use of a credit / debit card which could be anybodies. I didn't use my card when I requested mine.
I didn't have to give any proof, only the previous addresses I've lived at. Are you on the electoral roll? I know some companies search this as proof of address.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
hi thanks. No i am not on the electoral roll and dont have a credit card or bank account. Its the old cash and postal orders for me ,i will just send off and see what happens.dave
