Hi
My Husband is getting his OR call on Thursday and after looking at the SOA he has not allowed enough expenditure for the day to day running of his car ie for MOT etc
Can alterations be made to the expenditure before the call or do the figures have to stay the same.
Also his hours are due to increase at work, is there a level of increase in income before you have to notify the OR or do you need to notify them of every pound.

Hi

your husband should inform the examiner at interview of the revised expenditure claim in respect of the running costs of the car. Provided the revised figure falls within what the examiner deems an acceptable claim he should be fine.

I would discuss your 2nd question with the examiner as well. Technically you should report ANY change but in most cases this is clearly not practical.
It would depend on the final disposable income figure established based on the figures submitted.

For example, if there were Nil DI then any increase in take home below £99 would not be worth reporting. Get the examiner to set the minimum increase before reporting is necessary.
