Hi we opened a new account with COOP and were declared BR on wednesday. I know we have to send off our statements from before being declared bankrupt but do we need to send off any from our new account. Just want to no so I can opt out of paper statements or get some ink for our printer incase they are requested in the future.

Thanks

Mick

Hi

assuming the new account was listed on your SoA I would wait to see if the OR requests any statements. It is not always the case. If there is a request it may not include the new account if it has only been open for a very short period.

However, if an IPA is likely then future statements may be required by the collecting agent for them to monitor your disposable income.
