My husband and I are TRYIN to get together the 1K to declare BR.

Today we have received court papers re Northern Rock unsecured loan.

We live in mortgaged property which is currently approx 30K in neg equity but we do intend to stay in the house after BR and but BI.

If I make an offer of payment to Norhtern Rock via these court papers and they reject the offer will they automatically slap a Charging Order on our house even thou we are in Neg Eq or do they have to inform us of this first?

Have been advised by CCCS to make an offer of payment to get them off our backs whilst we get fees together but we cant afford much AND save for fees.

Also how long will it take for them to place a Chargeing Order on our house. We intend to declare BR Beg Sept.

We nearly had all the money a few weeks ao and then the washing machine / dishwasher broke and needed replacing and the car needed a repair and so now our BR fund has depleted.

One step forward 100 back. I cant sleep eat or function and am scared to death re possible CO

And advise would be greatly appreciated.
