my partner is unemployed and receives 53 pounds a week carers allowance for looking after our son. This money goes into my account.Do I need to include this in income as it is only me who is going bankrupt. Also as he doesnt work I pay some debts that are in his name am I able to put these down as expenditure. How much is the maximum I can put down for holidays, pets, car maintainance, dental per month.our family is 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 6 Thanks
Holidays - Put £80 although if you are close to not getting an IPA the OR won't allow this.
Pets - I think £21 is the allowance unless there are medical issues and then you would need to provide receipts from the vet.
Car maintenance - This depends upon the age of the car. I would put £30 in addition to any servicing/MoT costs.
Dental - £10 per adult per month unless you have any on-going treatment in which case you could provide the OR with something from the dentist to say you needed a certain amount of treatment and its' cost.
If you pay regular prescriptions as well, it might worth looking into a prepayment certificate which costs just over £10 a month and is much cheaper than having to buy them every month.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
