If the carers allowance is for your partner then don't put it on your form as income.

You won't be able to include the debts you pay for your partner as expenditure.

For guidelines regarding outgoings have a look at www.insolvency.gov.uk/DocumentLibrary/Policy/Excel/Household%20Expenditur.xls

Holidays - Put £80 although if you are close to not getting an IPA the OR won't allow this.

Pets - I think £21 is the allowance unless there are medical issues and then you would need to provide receipts from the vet.

Car maintenance - This depends upon the age of the car. I would put £30 in addition to any servicing/MoT costs.

Dental - £10 per adult per month unless you have any on-going treatment in which case you could provide the OR with something from the dentist to say you needed a certain amount of treatment and its' cost.

If you pay regular prescriptions as well, it might worth looking into a prepayment certificate which costs just over £10 a month and is much cheaper than having to buy them every month.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time

Thanks for all the help! Do I need to provide evidence of expenditure?

You shouldn't need to provide any evidence unless the OR deems an item to be excessive in which case they may ask for receipts/statements, etc.
